Truth Or Dare — Party Game
This app generates questions/challenges for the party game, Truth or Dare. There are three modes: Kid, Teen, and Extreme. The questions/challenges for kid mode are age appropriate (i.e. "What's your favorite color?" or "Try to lick your elbow"). The Teen questions include age inappropriate questions/challenges such as "Kiss the person to your left" and "Take a shot" with a 21+ warning (which leaves one wondering why this challenge is in the teen category). When playing these first two modes after every 5 or so questions/challenges an ad to purchase the Extreme mode appears. This mode is age inappropriate with sexually charged questions such as are "Have you ever hooked up in public?" and challenges such as "Feel a girls boobs under her shirt". Parent's should know if their child under 18 is using this app. No child under 15 should use this app at all.
While this game has an age appropriate Kids mode, without monitoring your child there is no way of knowing whether they are using this mode or the Teen mode to play. If your child is able to make in-app purchases and decides to play this game with friends using the extreme mode, they could be engaging in behavior that is dangerous to themselves and others. Try talking to your child about how they use this app. Depending on their answers, you may decide that this game is too risky for your child to have on their device.
