StarMaker Lite-Sing Karaoke

This app allows users to upload karaoke video of themselves singing popular music. The videos are then added to a public feed to be seen by anyone and voted on. The more votes a video gets the higher it is featured on the popular feed.. The app also encourages users to create their own YouTube channel to upload videos to. Any app that allows children to upload videos of themselves to a public forum puts them at risk for meeting strangers. Even if they cannot communicate with other uses directly through this app, sharing any kind of information such as full name, location, or YouTube channel can make it easy for a predator to contact them on another platform. Parents should know if a child under 18 is using this app. No child under 15 should use this app at all.
Without constantly monitoring your child, it is impossible to know what kind of private information they are sharing with the public. There is no option for a private profile on this app. Posting videos publically is an activity that can put your child's safety at risk. Please visit our Parent's Guides section for more information on how to talk to your child about the risk of meeting strangers online.
