Vigo Video -Tell your story

Flipagram lets users create videos to music and share them publicly or with followers through a private account. Users can easily create anonymous accounts and comment on their videos or send a direct message. Using the hashtag or user search option, children can find users who are willing to share nude photos and videos. There are incidents of bullying where users write mean comments on others’ videos. With combined risks of sexting, meeting strangers, adult content, and bullying, Flipagram should not be used by minors.
It may be hard for your child to understand why they are not allowed to have Flipagram because it is so popular among tweens and teens. Try talking to your child about why they want this app. If your child enjoys making videos that display their talents and sharing them with friends and family, there are plenty of safer, more private options. If your child wants to use this app to meet strangers, talk to him/her about why this is a safety risk. If your child has been using this app frequently, ask to see his/her activity. Based on their followers and the nature of the conversations they are having, you may want to involve law enforcement to protect your child.
