Dubsmash - Videos for everyone

This app allows users to record video of themselves with dubbed sound bites created by users. The video they record gets posted on a feed for anyone to see. The more likes a video gets, the higher it is featured in the categories. Users can add friends from their contacts or through a username search. Any app that allows children to post videos of themselves publicly puts them at risk for sharing adult content and meeting strangers. The sound bites on this app may contain mature themes such as sexually suggestive sounds and profanity. Parents should know if a child under 18 is using this app and no child under 15 should use this app at all.
This app connects children with strangers who can view their videos and add them by searching for their username. If you choose to allow your child to use this app you should talk to them about how to be safe and responsible. They should know to never share any private information on a public platform. Please visit our Parent's Guides section for more information on how to talk to your child about the risks associated with this app.
