You child can be added to a group chat with people they don't know, creating a risk for meeting strangers. All messaging apps have risk of bullying and sexting. No child under 18 should have this app.

Your child may have difficulty understanding why they are not allowed to use this app. Try talking to them about why they enjoy it.
